Job Description:

Do you have a strong passion for providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry? Centro Barsha is on the lookout for dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join our Front Office team in the role of Guest Service Agent. In this pivotal role, you’ll be entrusted with ensuring our guests’ stays are nothing short of memorable. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Consistently Delivering Professional and Friendly Service: Your warm and welcoming demeanor will set the tone for our guests’ experiences.
  • Efficient Guest Check-In and Check-Out: You’ll adhere to established procedures to make arrivals and departures seamless.
  • Room Sales and Daily Facility Management: Selling rooms to walk-in guests and handling daily facility tasks are all in a day’s work.
  • Cash Handling: You’ll manage cash inventory and process financial transactions for our valued guests.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperation with colleagues from various departments, including Housekeeping, Finance, and Reservations, is essential for a smooth operation.
  • Guest Service Desk Maintenance: Keeping our Guest Service Desk well-manned and well-prepared ensures it’s always ready for guest inquiries.
  • Respecting Guest Privacy: Safeguarding guest privacy by ensuring their personal information remains confidential.
  • Hotel Knowledge: Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the hotel’s policies, procedures, service standards, and facility offerings.

Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences:

To excel in this role, you should ideally have a degree in hospitality and prior Front Office experience in a hotel. Proficiency in written and verbal English, along with knowledge of an additional language, is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with Opera software are advantageous.
